It's more than the A.W.E. It's the Saniyah Law

August, 28, 2018 Cleveland, Ohio. Marshawnette M. Daniels, mother of Saniyah Nicholson move aggressively to pitch proposed bill to law makers, community leaders, community activist and local media. "When do parents become parents" asked Ms. Daniels.  9 year old Saniyah Nicholson was killed in a cross fire on Wednesday, June 20, 2018 as she sat in her mom's car eating ice-cream."They took everything from me, everything from me" says, Ms. Daniels. On Saturday, September 8, 2018 from 9:45am to 12noon Marshawnette Daniels and the ladies of BWCCC will unleash the proposed "Saniyah" Law. There will be a 30 minute power-point presentation followed by a press conference and a question and answer moment from invited guest. Saniyah's Secondary Signage Update: Meanwhile, as Ms. Daniels move forward, she and the ladies of the Black Women Commission of Cuyahoga County are awaiting the emergency resolution for the requested secondary signage  in remembrance of Saniyah Nicholson. Councilman Joe Jones of Cleveland WARD ONE informed the BWCCC via email that this matter of the secondary signage would be brought up in the September 2018 Council meeting. Jones, also informed Daniels via voice mail message that he is in full support of the secondary signage. The viewing of the draft proposal will be held on Saturday, September 8, 2018 at the Lion of Judah Church 15716 BROADWAY AVE, MAPLE HEIGHTS OH 44137 from 9:45am to 12noon. Bishop Romey Coles, Pastor. It's been more than a year since the demise of this 9 year-old little girl. Councilman Joe Jones tells the girl's father and mother that if they stop working with the ladies of BWCCC - he will place a secondary sign up in their daughter's honor. BWCCC has constantly worked with this family for approximately a year; writing proposals and resolutions, meetings with legislatures, special front page features in the Brown Report Newspaper, developing press conferences, consulting, extensive research, organizing special events and supporting various measures. The family decided to take Jones up on his offer, they parted with BWCCC on June 15, 2019. BWCCC wish the family much success with their endeavors. We pray that they get the desir…
