Approximately 90 days ago, members of BWCCC contacted Cleveland City Council regarding safety issues in our neighborhood. We asked to speak address the Safety Committee. We were told that Council President Kevin Kelley would reach out to us. It's been more than 90 days since our last request. Kelley has not spoken one word. Since, Kelley can't call us - several members of BWCCC will call on him and the entire safety committee. The safety chair, Matt Zone and Kelley received an email request from BWCCC on Friday revisiting this entire subject matter. They were given 10 days to respond. If they don't come to us, then we will visit them. 8 days and counting - we will walk into Cleveland City Hall.
" When a woman, any one woman can't walk her dog, nor have her daughter sit in a car eating ice-cream, open her door nor go shopping due to being harmed - this should be first on everyone's agenda. The entire region should be outraged!"
